Field notes Vol. 150 documents John Adolph Shafer's botanical collecting in Cuba in 1912 on a New York Botanical Garden expedition. It is comprised of a list of specimen numbers 11649-12434, collected January 3-April 4, 1912 in Cuba. The notebook includes dates and locations, and entries have very brief descriptive information on the plant and/or habitat. Most entries do not have the full plant name. Inserted in the notebook is a letter from Shafer to Britton dated April 6, 1912
Field notes Vol. 148-156 are housed together in one box. All document New York Botanical Garden expeditions to Cuba in 1903, 1911-1912 and 1916 by Nathaniel Lord Britton and associates
